I come from a professional background in mental health, having practiced in primary care as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for 17 years.
This knowledge and experience drew me to realise that physical and mental well-being are inextricably linked.
I have a naturally stiff and inflexible physiology. Yes - this is what drew me to yoga!
Working through 2 injuries, (hip & wrist), has contributed to my strong interest in anatomy. My teaching style embraces this often overlooked aspect, thus increasing safety and adding depth of interest.
I have 4 children, 4 cats and a husband – all of whom enjoy yoga & pilates in their own ways.
